Mainstay Independent Wiener Weisse Mainstay Independent Weiner Weisse - 5.6% Northern Liberties, Philadelphia. born out of the desire to keep their wheat yeast happy, healthy and ready to ferment another batch of King Laird Weisse, they pitched the yeast in to a few barrels of Vienna lager in an effort to keep it growing and the result was not only delicious but incredibly balanced and drinkable. A happy accident if you will. A little floral and a little malty, it drinks a bit like a saison or biere de garde. 6
